Report of Ambassadorship Cycle 3 (Orientation Exercise) in Kwambla, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State

Introduction

The Mariam Ladi Yunusa Foundation laid the foundation for the final edition of the Ambassadorship cycle programme that started in 2022 at Gulak, Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa state.

Selected members of the foundation in the persons of Mr. Joshua Gamaraja (Outreach Manager, Yola), Mr. Abdul Aziz Usman (Outreach Officer, Yola), Emmanuel Ijai (Outreach Officer 2) and Bless Yohanna (Community Matron) visited Kwambla, Hong local government area of Adamawa for the orientation exercise that precedes the major programme that comes up later in the year.

The Orientation exercise is for the selection of 10 new orphaned female secondary school ambassadors that will be beneficiaries of the 3rd and final ambassadorship cycle. The 3-day programme started on the 23rd and ended 25th January 2024. It featured teachings on the sections of the Ambassadorship cycle programme – Agricultural innovations, ICT and Leadership development.
