4TH DAY
The fourth day, the team went to GDSS Moda to assess the five beneficiaries that were given scholarship. All of them were given scholarship from JSS classes to SS3. As at the time we arrived, only two of the beneficiaries were present in school. According to the principal one of the girls has registered for SS1 but she is having eyes problem, one of the got married and the other one collected her transfer to another school. We requested that the principal should please look for the sick girl for us to see her. she was brought to us and from our assessment, she is actually having difficulties with eyes. We interviewed the girl by name Nassara Ayuba, she said she has been suffering with this problem from her childhood. We encouraged her not to give up, that we are going to take her matter to the management and see what they can do. The rest of our beneficiaries are doing well in school.
